2 dead, 25 injured after vehicle drives into crowd

Two people were killed and 25 injured in Mannheim, Germany, as a car drove into a crowd during a carnival celebration. The suspect, Alexander Scheuermann, 40, was arrested and is being investigated for double murder and multiple attempted murders. The victims were identified as an 83-year-old woman and a 54-year-old man. Police believe the suspect acted alone.
