1.7 million Somali children face severe malnutrition – report

Erratic weather and insecurity have left nearly a quarter of Somalia’s population in need of food. The number could rise to 4.4 million by June, up from 3.3 million. 1.7 million children under five are at risk of acute malnutrition.
