A 14-year-old girl, using the pseudonym Darkuna, was raped by armed men in the Democratic Republic of Congo. The attackers also assaulted her 18-year-old sister while their parents watched helplessly. The incident occurred in Goma, where fighting has intensified following the capture of key territory by rebel groups.
