Decorated South African Air Force pilot James O’Connell died in a plane crash during a routine display at the West Coast Air Show in Saldanha. The 68-year-old aircraft he was flying experienced a sudden loss of altitude and crashed, shocking spectators. An investigation is ongoing as tributes pour in for the seasoned pilot. Videos and images of the crash have circulated on social media.
