Two-clawed dinosaur species discovered in Gobi Desert

Scientists have discovered a new species of dinosaur, Duonychus tsogtbaatari, in Mongolia’s Gobi Desert. Belonging to the Therizinosaur group, it was medium-sized, weighing around 260kg. Researchers believe its long, curved claws made it efficient at grasping vegetation. The specimen was found in the Bayanshiree formation, dating back to the Late Cretaceous period.
