Zimbabwe’s ruling Zanu-PF party aims to extend President Mnangagwa’s term until 2030, two years beyond his current limit. The party seeks ways to achieve this, possibly through constitutional changes. Mnangagwa’s second term ends in 2028, as per the constitution’s two-term limit. The late Robert Mugabe previously led Zimbabwe for decades.
