A drug consignment intercepted in Panama reveals global organized crime cartels targeting South Africa. Police officers with concealed faces and firearms are seen in photos of the drug bust on January 30, 2025. 504 packages of suspected drugs, believed to be compressed cocaine, were found in 18 suitcases in a shipping container en route from Mexico to Panama and Spain, with South Africa as the final destination.
