Parliament’s committee chair Khusela Diko opposes Minister Solly Malatsi’s proposal to devolve powers from State Information Technology Agency (Sita). Malatsi aims to amend regulations to allow smaller departments to procure their own IT equipment, enabling Sita to focus on larger departments. Diko argues that the Act prohibits such changes.
