Tanzania’s opposition leader Tundu Lissu, charged with treason, has been moved to a different prison, raising concerns about President Samia Suluhu Hassan’s human rights record. Lissu’s party, CHADEMA, confirmed his transfer to Ukonga Prison after his whereabouts were initially unknown. Government officials have not commented on the situation.
