The Department of Health confirmed no link between recent fires at Tembisa Hospital. Deputy Minister Joe Phaahla visited the facility after a Wednesday blaze damaged the outpatients’ unit. Despite similarities with a weekend fire in the emergency unit, Phaahla stated they are not connected. Forensic investigations will determine the cause.
