McLaren to exit Formula E at end of the season

McLaren will exit Formula E after 2024-25 to concentrate on Formula One, IndyCar, and a new hyper car project for the 2027 World Endurance Championship. The decision follows a strategic review, with CEO Zak Brown stating a focus on aligning with McLaren Racing’s direction. Formula E hints at a possible partnership extension for next year. McLaren took over the team from Mercedes in 2022. Formula E has nearly 400 million global fans.
