South African fund managers are now selling offshore assets after five years of buying, according to Bank of America’s survey. The shift is driven by global uncertainty, including US President Trump’s tariffs. Only 35% of assets are held offshore, below the 45% limit. Managers plan to decrease offshore exposure in the next three months.
