Thousands of Kaizer Chiefs and Orlando Pirates fans attended the Nedbank Cup final. The Africa’s Travel Indaba 2025 trade show in Durban is expected to be the busiest in over a decade, with major hotels almost fully booked. The Hilton Durban Hotel, closed due to Covid-19 fallout, reopens for the event. Hotel occupancy in Durban and Umhlanga is at 80-90% during the Indaba.
