Cold fronts to move into Cape next week, gale-force winds forecast

Two cold fronts are set to hit South Africa next week, with the first bringing wet, cold, and windy conditions to the Western Cape on Monday. The second front will move eastward, affecting the Namakwa district of the Northern Cape and the Eastern Cape on Tuesday. Rainfall of 15-25mm expected, with higher amounts in mountainous areas. Strong winds may cause disruptions and damage.
