Law enforcement in Cape Town issued over R22,500 in traffic fines during the launch of Operation Basadi, a female-led initiative. The operation included crime prevention searches, arrests, and the issuance of 11 protection orders for domestic violence cases. Officers also distributed over 1,000 pamphlets on gender-based violence and conducted vehicle checks.
