National Convention to go ahead despite challenges: Presidency

The Presidency confirms the first National Convention of the National Dialogue process will proceed on 15 August 2025, despite divisions within the Preparatory Task Team. The organizing team has been restructured to ensure the event takes place. President Ramaphosa reaffirms the Convention will proceed, emphasizing the importance of South Africans taking ownership of the country’s future.
