A Gauteng father was arrested for raping and impregnating his daughter, who gave birth in December 2022. The State opposed bail, citing DNA evidence confirming the accusation. The accused, 39, pleaded for bail, claiming to be the primary caregiver for his three children. The matter was postponed to 12 August for bail judgment.
