Police in Gauteng seized over 24,000 counterfeit items, valued at R20 million, in a raid in Bruma, Johannesburg. 35 individuals were arrested, including one for violating the Counterfeit Goods Act and 34 foreign nationals for violating the Immigration Act. The operation aimed to combat the illegal trade in counterfeit goods and protect consumers and the economy.
