Bill Gates’ superyacht uses liquid hydrogen stored at -423°F, nearly as cold as outer space

Bill Gates’ superyacht, Breakthrough, is a 118.8-meter vessel powered by a 3-megawatt hydrogen fuel cell system. This technology allows it to operate silently and without emissions. The yacht’s power capacity is so significant it could run about thirty of Gates’s 66,000-square-foot Xanadu 2.0 mansions. This project demonstrates how technology can combine luxury and sustainability.
