AI takes backseat as Apple unveils software revamp and new apps

Apple’s WWDC focused on new software design Liquid Glass, phone and camera apps, Apple Watch and Vision Pro updates. AI features were limited to incremental upgrades, including live translation and Workout Buddy app with AI-generated voice. Apple enabling app developers to use its large language model for AI features in third-party apps. Android has had similar features for years.
