Kirsten Kluyts murder: Bafana Mahungela to face trial despite attempts to have charges withdrawn

NPA to prosecute Bafana Mahungela for murder of teacher Kirsten Kluyts despite defence challenges. Mahungela faces charges of kidnapping, robbery, murder, and attempted rape. Arrested in November 2023 after Kluyts’ body found in Sandton. Surveillance footage links him to the crime scene. Kluyts was pregnant at the time of her death.
