The City of Johannesburg launched the long-delayed Rea Vaya BRT Phase 1C(a) route, initially introduced in 2014 and expected to finish by 2019. The route covers key areas including Berea and Sandton. Despite challenges like the pandemic and political changes, infrastructure is nearly complete, with 13 low-floor stations ready for operation.
