Lekompo music artist Kharishma, real name Melita Ribane, is hospitalized in Polokwane after a car crash that resulted in one fatality. Polokwane Executive Mayor John Mpe and Limpopo Premier Dr. Phophi Ramathuba have visited her, expressing their wishes for her speedy recovery. She is reportedly responding well to treatment.
