South Africa’s government announced it will not travel to the US for the G20 presidency handover. Ambassador Xolisa Mabhongo stated the US must come to South Africa or proceed without an official transfer. This follows tensions after President Trump declared the US would not send a delegation to the upcoming summit in Johannesburg.
