The Rwanda-backed M23 offensive in South Kivu, DRC, has caused casualties and displacement. African leaders at a summit in Tanzania have directed army chiefs to establish an immediate ceasefire. The meeting also called for humanitarian corridors to aid the affected. Rwanda denies supporting M23, which recently captured Goma and is advancing towards Kavumu in South Kivu.
