Fires in Cape Town’s southern suburbs continue, with a man arrested for arson and a firefighter hospitalized. The suspect was apprehended in connection with the ongoing blazes in the city’s southern suburbs. Over 100 firefighters and volunteers are working to contain the fires, which have spread to nearby areas. Residents and volunteers are providing support at the Lakeside fire station.
