‘Ambushed inside their vehicles’: Three taxi monitors gunned down in Soweto

Three members of the Witwatersrand African Taxi Association were shot dead in Soweto, near the association’s headquarters. The victims, identified as taxi monitors, were ambushed inside their vehicles while working. WATA spokesperson Hamilton Miya expressed shock and pain over the killings.
