Amazon MGM Studios has assumed creative control of the “James Bond” franchise, with producers Wilson and Broccoli stepping back. Amazon acquired MGM in 2022, leading to the takeover. Jeff Bezos is eager to move forward with casting the next Bond, as the franchise has been in limbo for four years. No casting news has been revealed yet.
