Boosmansbos shrew rediscovered after 46 years

Boosmansbos long-tailed forest shrew, not seen for 46 years, rediscovered in Western Cape’s Boosmansbos Wilderness Area. Conservationists thrilled at finding this Critically Endangered species, isolated by the Gouritz Valley. Rediscovery made after four years of search using original field notes.
