Over 25 traumatized children, including 14 boys and 11 girls, were rescued from illegal initiation schools on May 15. Nine boys from Daveyton, Ekurhuleni, aged 12-17, were among those saved by police, Cogta, Social Development, and emergency officials in Tshwane. Parents reported 60 children missing, taken without permission from areas like Etwatwa, Crystal Park, Benoni, and Putfontein.
