Mexicans mourn the deaths of two Navy cadets killed in a training ship crash at Brooklyn Bridge. América Sánchez, 20, and Adal Jair Maldonado Marcos, 23, were among the crew when the ship’s masts snapped. Sánchez was on the rigging during the accident. Twenty-two others were injured. The Mexican Navy plans to repatriate the crew, with Sánchez’s body to be transferred to Veracruz.
