Mark Carney’s Liberal Party is expected to form a government in Canada, falling short of a majority in the House of Commons. Carney is set to remain prime minister, with Conservative leader Pierre Poilievre projected to lose his seat. The Liberals lead in 168 seats, Conservatives in 144, Bloc Québécois in 23, NDP in seven, and Green Party in one.
