Zimbabwe plans to cull dozens of elephants to manage overpopulation, with meat distributed for consumption. The country’s second-largest elephant population faces a cull at a private reserve, targeting 50 initially. The Save Valley Conservancy has 2,550 elephants, exceeding its capacity. Ivory will be state property, while meat will go to local communities due to a ban on ivory trading.
