Chidimma Adetshina’s mother prohibited from applying for permanent SA residency

Former Miss South Africa finalist Chidimma Adetshina’s mother, Anabela Rungo, faces charges of identity fraud and violating the Immigration Act in South Africa. Rungo, a Mozambican national, used stolen documents to falsely claim South African citizenship. She was granted bail in the Cape Town Magistrates Court after her arrest in February. The State opposes her bail application.
