Racquel ‘Kelly’ Smith provided a timeline of the day her daughter Joshlin went missing in a warning statement to police. The statement, inconsistent with evidence, did not offer clues to Joshlin’s whereabouts. Smith’s statement was entered into the court record on 22 April 2025 without objections from her counsel. Smith made the statement on 6 March 2024 after being interrogated by investigators.
