DA lays criminal charges against Simelane, calls out Ramaphosa for failing to hold ANC ministers to account

DA MP Glynnis Breytenbach has accused human settlements minister Thembi Simelane of involvement in defrauding Eskom, alleging she received over R700,000 from a company hired by the power utility. Simelane denies corruption claims and is under scrutiny for previous scandals. Breytenbach is confident in a police investigation. The consulting firm Vitrovian is accused of inflating charges to Eskom and billing for non-existent employees during protests at the Kusile power plant.
