The High Court in Gqeberha acquitted Nigerian pastor Timothy Omotoso and co-accused due to prosecutor misconduct. Despite complaints, Advocate Nceba Ntelwa was kept on the case, facing further scrutiny. Omotoso, arrested in 2017 on charges including rape and human trafficking, saw a trial marred by allegations of misconduct. Judge Irma Schoeman cited lack of proof beyond reasonable doubt.
