Ex-Denel chairperson, former CEO in court on corruption charges

Former Denel Group CEO Zwelakhe Ntshepe testified at the Zondo Commission. Former Denel board chair Lungisani Mantsha and ex-CEO Zwelakhe Nhlanganiso face corruption charges related to the Denel Asia joint venture. They were granted R30,000 bail after allegedly disregarding a directive from the Department of Finance and receiving kickbacks for facilitating the deal.
