Beloved family dog Bokkie from Durban dies after green mamba bite despite efforts to save her. The 11-year-old mastiff was placed on a ventilator and given antivenom but did not survive. Professional snake catcher sought help, and interventions were made to stabilize the dog. Generous donations allowed for further veterinary care, but Bokkie passed away at the hospital.
