Father and daughter arrested after high-speed chase through streets of Strand

A father-daughter duo, aged 63 and 37, were arrested after a high-speed chase in Gustrouw, Strand, for stealing a generator during a house robbery. Community members helped catch them. The suspects fled in a vehicle, causing a collision. They were injured, hospitalized, and now face charges of housebreaking, theft, and reckless driving. They will appear in court once formal charges are filed.
