The City of Johannesburg is launching roadshows to promote the R500 million Spaza shop support fund, offering financial and non-financial aid to township and rural entrepreneurs. Eligible spaza shop owners can receive up to R300,000 through grants and interest-free loans. The roadshows will run until July in all seven city regions, encouraging compliance with food safety regulations and other requirements.
