The Democratic Alliance is challenging the Minister of Employment and Labour in court over the new Employment Equity targets in South Africa. The targets, part of the 2025 Employment Equity Regulations, aim to ensure businesses reflect the country’s diverse population in their workforce. The regulations set specific racial and gender-based targets for businesses across 18 industries to achieve in the next five years.
