Lifeline to save the SA Post Office

The Temporary Employer/Employee Relief Scheme (Ters) will provide the South African Post Office (Sapo) with R381 million over six months to support nearly 6,000 staff. The approval, described as a lifeline by Khusela Diko, Chairperson of the Portfolio Committee on Communications and Digital Technologies, aims to rescue and future-proof the historic institution, which dates back to 1792.
