Luthuli reopened inquest adjourned after witness breaks down

An inquest into the death of ANC president-general Chief Albert Luthuli was adjourned in Pietermaritzburg high court after a witness, Mohomed Manjoo, became emotional while testifying. Manjoo, a clerk at Stanger hospital where Luthuli was admitted, broke down when describing the nurses’ reaction to Luthuli’s arrival. The judge ordered an adjournment, and Manjoo is expected to continue his testimony.
