Mauritius and La Reunion prepare for Cyclone Garance, labeled a class 3 cyclone with gusts up to 70 kph. Mauritius shut its main airport, while La Reunion planned to do the same. The cyclone, 310 km northwest of Mauritius, poses a direct threat with expected flooding. Meteo-France predicts a direct impact on La Reunion, with the cyclone’s intensity and path subject to change.
