uMkhonto Wesizwe party wins Ward 18 (iSithebe) Mandeni, iLembe, with 42% of the vote, pushing ANC to third place with 27%. IFP comes second with 30%. iSithebe is an industrial hub in Mandeni, known for sugar cane and paper mills. The municipality is part of the iLembe district, including KwaDukuza, Ndwedwe, and Maphumulo.
