MTN Group plans to launch a streaming video platform in partnership with Synamedia to target mobile and fixed broadband subscribers across Africa. The platform will offer linear TV and video-on-demand content with various monetization models. Each market will have curated content tailored to local cultures. Synamedia CEO expects the collaboration to generate new revenues for MTN.
