Murder and rape trial of 22-year-old Bafana Mahungela postponed to June

The murder and rape case of Bafana Mahungela, accused of killing his former teacher Kirsten Kluyts, has been postponed to June 12 for the Director of Public Prosecutions to review request for charges to be dropped. Mahungela, facing charges of kidnapping,murder, and attempted rape, remains in custody. His defense has raised concerns about DNA discrepancies and alleged video evidence tampering.
