Alleged underworld figure Nafiz Modack convicted of corruption charges after 14 years. Former top cop’s plea agreement used as evidence. Other cases, including murder of Lieutenant Colonel Charl Kinnear, still pending. Modack acquitted before but convicted on June 6, 2025. Delay in case due to final witnesses testifying last year. Modack in jail since April 2021, no longer a threat to witnesses.
