Westown smart city in Shongweni, Durban, launches first phase with Westown Square mall opening on March 27. Dubbed the “Midrand of KZN,” the mixed-use development aims to be an economic hub, generating R15 billion investment and 23,000 jobs over 10-15 years. The Square combines retail, dining, and event spaces, with The Barn offering artisanal shopping experience.
